A few days ago I posted about four end-of-end strings of icicle lights that I had inadvertently forgotten to test before stringing up on my house. I discovered once I plugged them in that each string had a single two foot section of lights that were not lighting up.
A reader (whom I have met as he belongs to the parish and whom I consider a friend) wrote with a suggestion.
“Get one of these,” he said. “I don’t know how it works but it does!”
Son of a gun, he was right!
