Another salutary practice for Lent (and one I am most thankful for year-round) is Eucharistic Adoration. In fact, I am just leaving an hour of prayer with Our Lord as part of the 40 Hours Devotion. Fulton Sheen spent one hour with Him every day of his priesthood. I have come to appreciate the invitation from Him to come and spend time in His presence. I intend to make this as much a part of my Lent as possible this year. And when I am before Him I will pray for you.
