About a month ago I posted asking for prayers for the mothers of two priests who were in their final agonies.
One of the two moms died in early December.
Today, the other woman also went to her reward.
She was young. So is her son.
As the priest announced during his sermon today on this feast of St. Stephen:
“Pray for her soul and for her family. We all owe her a debt of gratitude. Indeed the whole Church owes her that debt. She gave us a priest.”
She had heard the three Masses of Christmas from her son who also gave her the sacraments.
Is there a more beautiful way to head to one’s judgment?
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord!
