I have seen slight variations in the wording on different sites. The above link is generally in line with all of them.
The idea here is to honor the Blessed Mother during those nine months wherein she carried her Creator within her womb. She is truly the new Ark of the Covenant. I always like that title as I grew up in a city named Newark.
Think it over. You’ll be praying for these three things for a long while – until Christmas Day!
A very wise priest once told me that if you should receive answer to any or all of these prayers, continue praying for the duration of the novena in Thanksgiving and because no prayer in Mary’s hands is ever wasted.
