The General

Friends, a few years back, before I started my three years of daily trad-posting, I sent a letter to Miss Ann Barnhardt. She was kind enough to publish it.

First, ignore the “T” signature. Clearly I meant to type “H”. Second, I’d like to ask your prayers. I am in the same town in central PA where I made that first general confession and the Spirit has moved me during this Pentecost Octave to make another. It is hard only to determine to cast yourself at God’s feet and ask Him to humble you. Everything else is easy as pie.

Please pray for me – an Ave, a Memorare, anything simple. Ask Blessed Mother to help me make a thorough and good confession. I’m almost 50 so there’s a lot of ground to cover.

Finally, if you find any inspiration in this post, consider praying for the grace to do the same. It is a most phenomenal experience and the graces received are palpable.

Our Lady, Refuge of Sinners, pray for us!
