My travels have taken me to a beautiful place these past few days. I am in St. Augustine, FL. True, I hate how the locals pronounce the name. However, I love the history of the place.
This afternoon my wife and I visited a place we’ve been to a few times – the National Shrine of the Holy Name of God.
The reason I love this place is certainly not for the modern looking church but for the museum attached to it.
In this museum I found a diorama depicting a most significant event. A few yards away, near the shoreline, the Spaniards came ashore several centuries ago and consecrated the land to Almighty God.

This is the Mass the occupiers of the Vatican want to disappear. Yet somehow this diorama got the details right.
But what really caught my eye was this:

This land – our home – belongs to God for the enlightenment of the people here. We are the current natives. And I will not believe the lies that these me we’re evil and sought to enslave and sicken the people of this land.
Maybe we should fight on a while longer…
