Nurse Claire has a Podcast!

Friends, if you, like me, have benefitted from the wisdom of a certain nurse anesthetist from a large city east of the Mississippi over the past five years, then hold on to your IV pole! Nurse Claire herself, first introduced to many of us through the Barnhardt Podcast (another one you NEED to be listening to) has launched her own podcast.

She’ll be talking about all the good stuff we’ve come to expect from her nurse-ly wisdom – health, drug protocols, bioethics, the true Catholic faith. I can’t wait to hit subscribe on this one.

A friend who is “super nerdy” says that not all podcast apps will see it immediately but it should be available on whatever platform you use within 48 hours. That being said, it is currently on Apple Podcasts. Link below.

Nurse Claire, I have appreciated your thoughts and I look forward to this endeavor. May Our Lord bless this. May Our Lady protect it. And because she’s my go-to girl, may St. Rita of Cascia bring you millions of subscribers.

Making Known Her Favor

Regular readers know of my devotion to St. Rita of Cascia, patron saint of impossible causes.

I am beginning another novena today. If anyone would like me to add your intentions, please email them to me. It is a joy for me to bring them to her.

St. Rita, our advocate, pray for us!

The ONLY Name by which We May Be Saved

Friends, call upon His Holy Name!

I remember my mother telling me when I was a young boy and had woke up from a terrifying dream, “Say the Holy Name of Jesus over and over again and all those bad thoughts will flee from you.”

She was right.

Here is a link to a litany I pray every morning.

Say His beautiful Name. Say it often. Say it when you wake up and before you fall asleep. It is a blessing to be able to utter that most sacred name!

Repost – the Holy Name of Jesus
