My mother-in-law kindly picked me up for Mass since I could not locate the keys.
When we got back to my house I invited her in for coffee.
She looked above the fridge (where no one in my house ever puts anything.
Turning to me, she said, “Who’s keys are these?”
It was them!

No less than five people sent me a link or video of Harrison Butker’s Benedictine commencement address. Yet it wasn’t until k read Ann Barnhardt’s commentary on the video that I decided to watch it.
Butler does indeed nail “it”. If you haven’t seen the video, please indulge yourself for 25 minutes.

I had a root canal recently.
It could have been worse. I could have been tied down and forced to listen to Here I Am Lord. so you see, there’s always a sunny side to every situation.

I’m at a college graduation this fine Mothers Day morning. It’s a “Catholic” university. A doctorate was just awarded for someone whose dissertation was titled “Social Antecedents of Password Sharing” or some such.
That giant sucking sound you just heard is the common sense of the human race being totally obliterated by satan and his minions at Big Ed.
Someone remember to hit the lights on your way out.
