Third Sunday after Easter

The Collect of the Mass:

“Almighty God, Who showest to them that be in error the light of thy truth, to the intent that they may return into the way of righteousness, grant unto all them that are admitted into the fellowship of Christ’s Religion, that they may eschew those things that are contrary to their profession, and follow all such things as are agreeable to the same.”

Amen.

Pray for Us, Saint Rita

I came across this video and thought it was good enough to share.

Holy and Wholesome

It is indeed salutary to pray for the faithful departed. Who knows, upon the release of that one soul when your prayer “put him over the top” so to speak, he may gratefully obtain incredible grace for you.

“To Glorify God for His Gifts and to Make Known Thy Favor”

New St. Rita novena starts soon. Join in by following along here. It somehow seems fitting that my 700th post should be dedicated to my favorite saint who has helped me so much.

St. Rita of Cascia, pray for us!

Went to a Fight…

And a hockey game broke out.

It is nice to be back in the place where I grew up. Nice to take my son to his first hockey game. Nice to be able to visit my mom. Too bad the boys lost their final game of the season and to the Islanders no less.

What was even nicer was to start the day with the Holy Sacrifice.

Blessed be the Holy and Undivided Trinity now and forevermore!

Is This a Bad Sign?

On the road (skies?) again. If it’s Boeing, I can’t even.
