Saw a headline that read “North Texas has only hit 80° on Christmas Day twice in 130 years. This year will mark the third time.”

Go with your gut on this, friends. Although my kids are older now (and both very good shots and thereby able to defend themselves) I really don’t think I would have felt comfortable, leaving them in the presence of a man as flamboyant as this. But he’s synodal, I bet.

For only the second time in history, the New York Archdiocese will have a living retired Archbishop.

We shall see how this pans out. Looks like old Timmy don’t do much to sure up too many priestly vocations. 18 in formation for a diocese of 2.5 million Catholics?!
