Frank Walker on Stephen Kokx!

Frank Walker is not only the hardest working man in the world but one of the kindest as well. He has given a platform to this no-name blogger to share his thoughts as well as countless others. Recently Frank sat down with Stephen Kokx of Kokx News (another really decent reporter, by the way) to discuss his site, Canon212.

Do check it out.

O Mother of Fair Love!

So moved was I by the sermon at the solemn Mass I attended this evening for the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe that I had to write about it before heading off to bed.

The sinless and perfectly beautiful Mother of God so loves th sinful race of man, to whom, from Calvary., she is also mother, that she comes again and again in marvelous ways to help, protect, guide, and warn us.

How could anyone, knowing this and believing this, express such open contempt for her as does th current crop in Rome is beyond my comprehension. But perhaps I’ve answered my own question question. Perhaps they (as Ann Barnhardt says) “just don’t believe any of that Catholic stuff”. She doesn’t use the word “stuff”.

It reminds me of a teenager who asks his mom to drop them off at the mall so we can hang out with his friends, but ask her to pull up to a side entrance so he doesn’t have to be seen with her because she’s just not that cool in his eyes.

Only a psychopath, narcissist, evil piece of trash would treat his mother like that. And believe me, she IS your mother whether you accept it or not.

When I think of the Blessed Mother, I think of and give thanks for the beauty of true womanhood that I see each day in my own mother, my wonderful wife,, her mother, and more and more my young daughter. I would no more be ashamed of Mary than I would of these fine ladis. In fact, my dad taught me by his example to place them on a pedestal, to seek there assistance, and to cherish them and protect them.

O Blessed Mother, co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of all Grace, pray for us!

Am I Not Here, Who Art Thu Mother?

Today we celebrated the most moving feast of Our Lady, th Virgin of Guadalupe.

When one considers that the Queen of Heaven and Earth deigned to come to the poor Juan Diego – and by extension to all of us in this new world – purely out of love for us and that she left us so magnificent a sign of her presence, one can hardly help but to be moved almost to tears.

O sweetest Mother, Our Lady of Guadalupe, visit again this Thy land and these Thy children! Protect us from harm and lead us to Thy Son!

In the propers for the Mass we read this from Canticles:

“Alleluia , alleluia . The flowers have appeared in our land, the time of pruning is come. Alleluia.”

Sta confessed. What a terrible pruning is to come upon us.

Warning

This man is a sex pervert. If you spot him anywhere near the Deposit of Faith, do not approach him as he may be extremely faggotous.

And still they give a big old fabulous pass to the guy in white who keeps him in office.

But, what do I know…

Love Your Mother!

On December 10, 1925, the Most Holy Virgin Herself appeared, and beside Her, borne by a luminous cloud, the Child Jesus. The Most Holy Virgin put Her hand on her shoulder and showed her, at the same time, a Heart surrounded by thorns which She held in the other hand. At that same moment, the Child said to her:

‘Have compassion on the Heart of your Most Holy Mother, covered with thorns with which ungrateful men pierce It at every moment, and there is no one to make an act of reparation to remove them.’

Thought This Might Be Helpful

One hears a lot of talk (or at least I do in the things I listen to) about making frequent spiritual Communions. Below is a link to what I think is the most common prayer that one can pray in order to accomplish this. It is easy to memorize. One could precede this with acts of faith, hope, and charity, and should always follow it up with a prayer of Thanksgiving.
