John-Henry Westen: A Class Act

John-Henry, I don’t imagine you’re reading this tiny little blog but on the off chance you come across these words, please know that many, many people think the world of you. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting you several times (none of which would stand out for you I am sure) but on every occasion, you were gracious, kind, and humble. The short you dropped today is further proof of that for those who do not already know.

If you live your life in Christian virtue, you will not go wrong. Friends, he’s as genuine as they come from my perspective.

Re-post on Synodal Synoding

To illustrate the stupidity (and abject evil) of synodality, here’s a post I published a few years ago. Enjoy.

Do You Need Another Reason to Go to Confession?

Friends, last Friday few short hours’ drive south of me, in the early morning hours, an unimaginable torrent of water swept through several communities. It came without warning and at such frightening speed that most of the people inhabiting the banks of the Guadalupe River had no chance of survival. Most accounts indicate that the river rose 26 feet in 45 minutes. Well over 100 people perished and well over 100 more are still missing (let’s presume they did not survive).

When God allows us to witness such terrible things, there is a purpose. How many of us could say, truly, that if the waters rose or the house caught fire or the earth opened up and swallowed our homes right this minute, we would be prepared to face Christ the Judge?

Go to confession!

Repent and practice virtue!

Cling to Our Lord and His Blessed Mother!

About the most heartwarming story to emerge from this disaster is that of the two young sisters who’s bodies were found together. They were holding hands and clutching their rosaries. Thank God their parents taught them that. May they (and all the faithful departed) rest in peace.

But go to confession!

Wanna’ Play Hardball, TradInc? Serve Up!

In the wake of the John-Henry situation, a friend suggested something I had not thought of and I like it…

It might not be much, but it certainly sends a sign.

On the handful of occasions, I have had the pleasure of meeting John-Henry, he always presented himself as a very humble and down to earth man who really believed he was doing the Lord’s work. I could certainly say that something smells fishy about this whole thing, but that’s already obvious.

Side note: Harvey will never be controlled by a board. It’s yours truly and that is that.

John-Henry… WTF?!

The pure among us can pretend the F is for “flip”.

Something smells real rotten here.

Let Go Fr. Isaac!

This is too good not to share, particularly the final question about a shared hometown baseball team posed (via “Max”) by yours truly.

I hope you’re all subscribed to Father. His content is top-notch. And his producer ain’t so bad either.

A Simple Commentary

Pray for priests. The devil wants their souls more than he wants yours or mine.
