When Ann says share aggressively, you share aggressively.
I watched this clip yesterday following a link from Canon212 but the video ended after Liz Yore spoke. Here’s the whole thing including a man who does some truly phenomenal work, John Henry Westin. I’ve had two opportunities to meet John Henry (three of you count a passing “hello” during the 2020 March for Life in DC). The first was at my parish here in Texas when he simply happened to be at a weekday Mass. the second was when I traveled to Indianapolis this past July to attend one of his conferences. He has always struck me as a truly decent man. It’s gratifying to see his come-around on this crucial issue.
Kudos to NonVeni Mark for his tireless work. Below he posts about the invalid conclave that took place upon the failed “resignation” of Pope Benedict XVI and the involvement of the US CIA in such affairs.
To this I would like to add the involvement of a certain Theodore Edgar McCarrick. Remember, Teddy was known (didn’t even attempt to hide it) to have worked for the US State Department.
Anyone remember the “influential Italian gentleman” story?
I can tell you that when I was in seminary in the late 1990’s McCarrick bragged about his influence and the special missions he had undertaken for the Clinton White House, supposedly helping to arrange John Paul’s trip to Cuba. In the above clip he brags about his friendship with Bergoglio. He mentioned having security clearances and the like. It was no surprise when he was then transferred to DC the following year. He was created a cardinal on the same day in 2001 as Avery Dulles, the nephew of CIA founding director Allen Dulles and the son of former Secretary of State John Foster Dulles (for whom DC’a international airport is named). McCarrick’s life – especially his early life – is shrouded in mystery as one would expect from a deep state operative.
And of course we all know about McCarrick’s rehabilitation by Bergoglio who then sent the former to China to work out the horrible deal selling out faithful Catholics in that land.
It is not hard to connect these dots. And like the late George Neumayr, I don’t believe McCarrick has actually been defrocked but that’s a story for another day.

I’m no doctor but this physical change is dramatic. I do not wish for anyone’s death nor do I wish to jump into the death pool drama. But it will happen to each of us. Are you prepared?
Please, in your charity, offer up a prayer or two for little baby Collette who was born by emergency section at just 24 weeks. Baby girl weighed in at a whopping… 1 lb. 4 oz.!
Friends, I have seen something similar before. My best friend from college and his wife had a baby boy under almost exactly the same circumstances. That little lad is now a strapping 20 year-old man living his best life.

My point in posting today is that Ash Wednesday is three weeks out. I’m planning out my Lent now. The Church gives us a wonderful period of three Sundays to gradually step back from worldly concerns such as food before we dive into the 40 days proper.
Might I offer some suggestions over these next few weeks that have helped me during Lent over the past few years? I’m going to anyway so I’m not sure why that’s a question. These are things I’ve either stumbled upon or that others have recommended.
First up, a video on fasting. Fasting is the heart of Lent but has been so watered down as to be almost meaningless. When I tried to take this seriously, tremendous things happened in my life. And yes, it is possible for a grown man with responsibilities in the world to go with hardly any food for six weeks.
