On Carmel’s Heights

There is an old rhyme I learned not long ago.

Every day and every night,

On Carmels height,

Someone is always praying for you!

What a beautiful and comforting thought! And may God’s blessing ever be upon the members of these contemplative orders who have devoted their lives to round the clock prayer for the Church.

Speaking of…

I want to take a moment to publicly thank a reader – MC – who recently enrolled yours truly in 40 days of Mass intentions, fasting, and prayer by the Discalced Hermits of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Fairfield, PA. Fairfield is especially dear to me. I’ve been there once or twice and enjoyed the beauty of the rolling hills near the Catoctin Mountains just south of Gettysburg.

I have said many times that the greatest gift anyone could ever give me is to have the Sacrifice of Calvary offered for my intentions

Dear reader, thank you for this most magnificent gift to me and may God bless you for your charity.

Below is the link for any who are interested in offering this as a gift for any of your own special intentions.
