A Little Music with that Bread?

Following on yesterday’s post about my emerging pioneer spirit, I figured I’d pull a Barnhardt and share a song. Here’s what I imagine I’d be listening to by the time the fifth load comes out of the hearth.

For what it’s worth, country megastar Lynn Anderson covered this song about a year later (1972) and it was good for sure but listening to Loggins and Messina play it out is priceless. Jim Messina wrote the songs after all.
