Old Harvey did something uncharacteristically dumb. Rught after leaving the secured area at one of the busiest airports in the world, my wife realized that we did not have her backpack. Seems when I grabbed the backpack from the overhead, it was just my son’s and not my wife’s as well.
There is a woman who works for American’s baggage service named Yvette. She was minding her business, tagging bags that had not been claimed when yours truly ran up to her counter in a semi-panicked state to explain my situation. Although she was busy, she went back through the secured area, even searched the plane. Made some calls. Got the police involved. This woman went all out and she did it with a smile.
So Deo Gratias again for Yvette!
What a way to end a trip.
