Everything’s OK.

Nothing a little late night trip to the ER can’t handle

Still, I’d appreciate a prayer for speedy recovery. Also, it’s not me. I am an ox. Let’s just say someone I know and love very much has incredible luck.

What kind of luck? “Buy a lottery ticket” luck. Each year around 500 people in this country get Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and she happened to get the tick bite. That’ll teach us to visit the Rockies…

If it helps, I told her while we were sitting in the triage area that I once had Appalachian Mountain Fever. The symptoms were awful. My teeth fell out and I picked up the banjo.*
