I spent 40 years in the modernist rite blissfully unaware that it was a shadow (penumbra at best) of the Catholic faith. I could tell you some stories. Then again, none of them would make you recoil in horror like whatever supposed outrages you witnessed. What? Did a woman cover her head? Did a child kneel to receive Our Lord?
