I was on a boat taking a sunset cruise around Sarasota Bay this evening when a friend texted me the following.

Benedict dead.

I presumed he was talking about the Holy Father. I began searching furiously and found nothing at all.

Turns out to have been a “hoax” but my gut instinct is to call it a false flag.
